Women Owned Essex is a supportive business community for female founders, freelancers and small business owners across Essex.

Once a month we meet at the Angel Pavilion in Broomfield, Chelmsford, bringing women together in a relaxed and welcoming space to connect, share ideas and support each other in business.

Our meetups are friendly, informal and designed to make networking feel easy. Whether you run an established business or are just starting out, you’ll find a room full of women who understand the ups and downs of running a business and who genuinely want to see each other succeed.

Each session gives everyone the chance to introduce themselves, share what they do and talk about what support they might need. Many of our members find new clients, collaborators and friends through the community.

Women Owned Essex is built on a simple idea: when women support women, incredible things happen.

Throughout the year we also host special events, larger networking gatherings and content days where members can create photos and videos for their businesses while spending time with other inspiring women.
